I started re-writing some of the programs I use for calibrating machines using CMM-M. I am quite happy with how it is progressing although I have a long way to go. One cool thing I came up with is to have all the inputs in a single dialog that blends in nicely with the rest of the software.

The impression I am getting is that you can switch in and out of VB seamlessly so putting all the high-level stuff on that side of it makes more sense then trying to put it inside the program. It is different paradigm. If it works the way I believe it does I can’t think of too many things you couldn’t do in CMM-M that you could do in something like PC-DMIS.
