annual machine calibration

We do our daily calibrations with a qual sphere, but what needs to be done for annual calibration sticker?
We have a small plastic box labeled "Keyence Calibration Kit" which contains a 0.1000 ceramic pin and 0.8000 ceramic ring, but i'm not sure what these are for.
Do i need to schedule a tech to come in and calibrate my machine, or is this something that can be handled internally?
if internal, does someone have a procedure for this?

Thank you

Annual calibration will certainly entail more than two artifacts you've described. Traditionally the annual calibration will entail multiple point calibration - i.e. length standard - along with some artifact for size / probing. What system are you trying to calibrate? I assume it's running CMM-Manager software since you've asked this question at CMM-Manager Forum.

Its a Helmel Phoenix DCC 216 x 142.
we mainly use it as a "manual" CMM, meaning we drive it with the jog box, but we have a couple DCC programs for more common parts.
We also have 5 Brown & sharpe and 1 Zeiss Contura that get their annual calibration by factory techs in the manner described by crash.

Update, we sent some interns into the record room (dusty storage area of boxes and whatnot) and found our service contact.
Crisis averted!
