Re: Clouds to cloud

Thanks Nate, That call out per "DIMENSIONING AND TOLERANCING PER ASME Y14.5M-1994." and yes it is a strange call out. The pads themselves have a tol. of .020 band to ABC but only .005 band between pad to pad. Combine the clouds of 2 pads and report a single cloud seems to me does not satisfy the cal...

Clouds to cloud

I want to compare and report the Max. Dev and Min. Dev between 2 clouds with a profile tol of .005", do you have a better way than manually go through report for cloud to cloud every time? Thank you in advance

Re: LOOP WITH CONDITION

I did used DATUM alignment and it did not work out as I expected. Also, datum alignment will loop with 6 points mine only 3 points. What I am using on this program is working fine just need a fine tune to make it works more effective. Thanks for your quick reply Ryan

LOOP WITH CONDITION

I am using a loop to measured and align a part with 3 datum target points, I have to give a (guess) number to loop around until all points will be within .001 tolerance. It would be better if I can set the condition when the loop met it will jump out of the loop. Thanks in advance

Re: Importing features from one program to another

Ok, I will write a complete program in operation planer then break it up depend on machine operation but in one hand the final program align to datum and sync to cad, in other hand subsequence programs will align off datum, offset and sync to cad. Because of the same cad ref frame to different manua...
