Re: Machine will not home
I certainly hope that you got the machine to "Home" position by now...at any rate, it sounds like the machine probe head position was past the limit switches in X,Y axes. If you depress the e-stop or dis-engage the servo motors and physically move the probe head near the center of the measurement vo...

We can help you with your retrofit if you are interested. We have old Mitutoyo parts and retrofit them regularly, however we are no longer owned by Mitutoyo.

Re: Renishaw Machine Checking Gage (MCG)
If you are speaking of the CMM Manager .cmp program for lines 040, 041 and 042, those are "User Defined" output. You need to enter the nominal yourself before run the program.
I probably should let Nate answer this as I have not personally run the program myself at this point.

Re: Renishaw Machine Checking Gage (MCG)
Are you speaking of the CMM Manager program? You will need to fuss with the VB Script :) However, I am not sure there is a "squareness correction". It should report what the squareness is for you to determine if the machine needs to be calibrated, hence "Machine CHECKING Gage" (MCG). It's intent is ...

Re: constructing perpendicular line
If the point is on the line , construct the normal line through the point rather than the circle but the procedure is the same.

Re: Custom CSV report
Ray-Z, If you are in Philly, it has been about one year since I was there. How are things going? There are multiple ways to export to CSV. To make it automatic use the report properties to save it in CSV format to a file location of your choice. Or, you can save report individually if you care to. Y...

Re: DCC Settings v3.5
I agree with that statement about CMM Manager updating UCC Server, however it has been my understanding that UCC Server handles the machine controls and probe management through I++ communication. In this case it seems to be working the other way around which is what caught me by surprise. I totally...

Re: Offline programing without a part
MrToyoCMM, Will there be a CAD model used? I only ask because you will want to be sure and use a part alignment on the actual part that coincides with the coordinate system of the CAD model then sync the two. When you do a fully determinate alignment and the preference is set to automatically sync u...
